Henry Gong - Venture Partner 

Mr. Henry Gong is Venture Partner of Infinity Equity. With over 20 years of extensive experiences in related areas, he is a veteran international private equity investor with a focus on China related businesses, and has played a creative and successful role in matching global capital with Chinese opportunities and Chinese capital with global opportunities. In recent years, he founded New Fusion Capital Group in partnership with New China Capital Management, the manager of the Cathay Capital Group with about US$1.5bn under management, to invest alongside large strategic partners in proprietary situations. He also previously led an investment consortium including a global media and two Chinese telecom giants in acquiring a major stake in and served as the President for Hong Kong main board listed CITIC 21CN Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Gong was a senior investment banker with Goldman Sachs in Asia, and had advised a large number of leading international, regional, and Chinese corporate and government clients in a broad range of direct investing, financing and M&A activities. He was a key member of the firms early Greater China team, being the lead banker for the firms first successfully lead-managed IPO from China and played pivotal role in winning the firms early landmark mandates from China. Prior to his Asia assignment, he worked in Goldman Sachs corporate finance department in New York.

Mr. Henry Gong graduated with distinction from the Foreign Affairs University in Beijing with an LLB, received MA and MPhil in International Relations/Political Science from Yale Graduate School, and MBA from NYU Stern School.
