Mr. Henry Gong is Venture Partner of Infinity Equity.
Mr. Gong is also currently Co-Chiarman of THL China Capital Holdings, the China affiliate of Thomas H. Lee Partners, one of the world’s oldest and most experienced private equity firms.
He is a veteran private equity investor with a focus on China related businesses, both domestically and globally. He was previously an investor in and the president of Hong Kong listed CITIC 21CN Corporation.
Prior to that, as a senior investment banker with Goldman Sachs in New York and Hong Kong and a key member of the firm’s early Greater China team, he had led the successful completion of the firm's first IPO from China, and advised a large number of leading international, regional, and Chinese corporate and government clients in a broad range of direct investing, financing and M&A activities.
Mr. Gong graduated with distinction from the Foreign Affairs University in Beijing with an LLB, received MA and MPhil in International Relations/Political Science from Yale Graduate School, and MBA from NYU Stern School.
